Engine oil pressure G
If the message "STOP! ENGINE
OIL PRESSURE" appears in the
Check Control: stop the vehicle and
switch off the engine immediately.
Check the engine oil level; top up as
required. If the oil level is correct:

engine could be damaged

Comes on when you engage the
parking brake.
Antilock Brake System (ABS) G
ABS has been deactivated in
response to a system malfunc-
tion. Conventional braking efficiency is
available without limitations. Please
have the system inspected by your
BMW center.

related electronic systems. Although
the vehicle remains operational, you
should have the systems checked by
your BMW center at the earliest
possible opportunity.

An acoustical signal is sounded
and a message appears in the
Check Control for 4 to 8 seconds. The
acoustical signal ends when the belt is
fastened.
