Headlamp
You may have to remove the headlamp
assembly prior to replacing a bulb. See
Removing a Headlamp (page 431).
Halogen Headlamp
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

6. To install, reverse the removal
procedure.
CHANGING A BULB

Headlamp low beam.
Headlamp high beam.
Front direction indicator.
WARNING: Switch the lamps and
the ignition off. Failure to do so could
result in serious personal injury.
WARNING: Lamps and associated
components become hot when in use.
Let them cool down before you remove
them.
Headlamp Low Beam
1. Turn the cover counterclockwise and
remove it.
Use the correct specification bulb. See
Bulb Specification Chart (page 489).

3. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight
out.
4. To install, reverse the removal
procedure.
Note: Do not touch the bulb glass.
Daytime Running Lamp
These lamps have LEDs.
Note: We recommend that you have LEDs
changed by an authorized dealer.

Front Direction Indicator

1. Turn the cover counterclockwise and
remove it.
2. Press the clip to release the bulb
holder.
3. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight
out.
4. To install, reverse the removal
procedure.
Note: Do not touch the bulb glass.
Headlamp High Beam
1. Turn the cover counterclockwise and
remove it.

2. Turn the bulb holder counterclockwise
and remove it.
3. Press the bulb in and turn the bulb
counterclockwise to remove it.
4. To install, reverse the removal
procedure.

LED Headlamp
Note: You cannot separate the bulb from
the bulb holder.
3. To install, reverse the removal
procedure.

Note: Front fog lamps are also available as
LED lamps.

Rear Lamp
Remove the rear lamp assembly prior to
replacing any bulb. See Removing a Rear
