HAZARD FLASHERS
JUMPSTARTINGTHEVEHICLE
The hazard flasher switch is on
the instrument panel.
WARNING: Keep batteries out of
reach of children. Batteries contain
sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes or clothing. Shield your eyes when
working near the battery to protect
against possible splashing of acid
solution. In case of acid contact with skin
or eyes, flush immediately with water for
a minimum of 15 minutes and get prompt
medical attention. If acid is swallowed,
call a physician immediately.
Use the hazard flashers if your vehicle is
creating a safety hazard for other road
users.

Connecting the Jumper Cables

front passenger seat or in the luggage

The warning triangle can be stowed under
the front passenger seat.

2. Gently lift it upward and then pull it
straight out.
Note: The towing eye attachment point
cover has a small lanyard to keep it
attached to the bumper.

Attaching the Towing Eye
1. Gently press and release the towing
eye attachment point cover at the
position indicated.
WARNING: Make sure that the
towing eye is fully tightened. Failure to
follow this instruction could result in
personal injury.
2. Gently pull it straight out.
Note: The towing eye attachment point
cover has a small lanyard to keep it
attached to the bumper.
WARNING: You must switch the
ignition on when your vehicle is being
towed.

2. Install the towing eye.
Note: It has a left-hand thread. Turn it
counterclockwise to install it.

storage tray.

vehicle at all times.
